You can make the min and max of the y axis automatic, just as for the x axis. Please attach your file and explain specifically what you want to do.
ok after searching/trial error method i came up with this
![]()

but it still doesn't work...note the cell values get auto calculated when scrollbar moves. so wat essentially i m want is each time the value gets recalculated in cells D2 &D3 the chart y axis should update the bound automatically BUT it works when i manuall go to cell D2 or d3 & click enter

What about the other thread you started?
You haven't replied to my question nor have you marked it solved.

The OP moves from one thread to another without ever saying 'thank you' or marking them as SOLVED. There's a common thread of a lack of courtesy throughout, I am afraid.

Don't forget to say "thank you" in your thread to anyone who has offered you help. It's a universal courtesy.

i cudn't figure out wat was conflicting in that sheet in the other thread but i found an alternate solution to bypass it , i didn't mark it as as solved or reply there as i was hoping to figure out y the issue was coming with the existing sheet but anyway i have posted my reply and wat alternate method i used for it there.
There is a pattern of your abandoning threads here. Please get into the habit of finishing them and marking them as SOLVED.
when i comeback to mark it as solved after few days there is no edit button to change its status as solved only reply button is present...so unfortunately i m unable to mark some a solved, if there is a way to make them as solved with edit button missing plz share
It's all in the forum FAQs ...
To sign off the thread, choose Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED.
However, none of this stops you from saying 'thank you' to your helpers, something that you should be doing. As I said, there is a lack of common courtesy here. Your helpers are human beings, not chat bots.
oh but i did thank the ppl when the solution has worked though i was unable to close the thread.
You should thank them for their offer of help, anyway, not just when something works! Otherwise you are just ignoring them, and that's rude. Why should they waste their time if you can't even be bothered to acknoweldge their help?
You are able to mark ANY thread as SOLVED using the Thread Tools link at the top right. Please don't make excuses.
i m not making any excuses...i have marked thread as solved whichever i cud and thanked ppl who have helped me. ....and hen solution hasn't worked i have responded back too...u seem to have a problem with me asking questions on this forum and finding some reason or other to point at me...hence i will refrain from posting any more threads ...plz feel free to delete my account too as ur the mod here .....discussion closed from my end
The evidence suggests otherwise, sorry.
You have gone back and marked several threads as solved TODAY since I pointed this out to you, but look at your profile - a whole history going back to 2020 of threads NOT marked as solved and hardly any thanks offered from you to your helpers:
