Python In Excel Still Not Received

On 22/08/2023 pyton in excel was released to a selected few downloading the Microsoft 365 Insider Program > Beta Channel > build 16818.20000. I immediately purchased 365. I was not lucky enough to have downloaded an integrated python module in excel.

29/08/2023 two more build versions; 16824.20002 & 16827.20000 was released. Updating the beta channel & still no pyton in excel is received.

How long typically till the beta is released to 100% of users on the beta testing channel?

There is no specific timeframe. And the same user may have it on one machine but not on another, so it is not wise to rely on anything in beta - especially as it may be removed without notice if they find a problem.

You might just need to Customise the Ribbon. Choose All Commands and scroll down to Python. You'll need to add a new tab/group before you can add the Command to the Ribbon.

I was aware that Python in Excel had arrived but thought I'd see it when it was available ... it wasn't.

Just because you have that button doesn't mean you necessarily have access to Python. If you don't have the PY() functions, you're still not one of the "lucky" ones.

You can make the python menu appear in the ribbon but sadly it is not a workaround to trick excel into making integrated python available to you. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/...as/m-p/3906419
