Can an Excel macro pull data from a folder on Sharepoint, how is this accomplished ?

Hi, i have a spreadsheet that uses a macro to populate a list of folder names within the workbook, however since the folders have been moved to sharepoint I cannot find a way to get the macro to run and all pull required the information from sharepoint.

The macro usually simply runs by looking at the file path in a cell and then listing all of the folders in that file path in a range of cells

Any help would be welcome
