With macro or not, every alternating cell within a range has a cell with the formula =IF(ABS(GT67-'F:\Cost Rollout\New folder\C-130\[-3303589-5(LP).xlsx]Summary'!$J$14)<=1,"?","?") I need to make sure that every alternative cell (or can make it every cell and it can just fail on the cell the formula isn't there idc) has the row number matching? Since every row will be referenced to a different row in a different workbook (the entire row will be referenced to the same workbook if it matters), I need the make sure I didn't make any error while typing it in. I was hoping the result would be showed as something similar to conditional formatting where the correct cells are colored or something but doesn't have to be.

I need an inverse of this function as well where as you go down a column, every cell (not alternating this time) has the same letter in that same formula as above.

And since I'm manually entering all these formulas and they have a pattern, let me know if there is an automatic way of entering them as well.
(again the formula is same workbook and row # across the row and same column letter down the column) - cell GT67 as indicated in the formula falls right before the left of the cell with the formula and this pattern will continue so there is no need for $ signs for within workbook reference.

Thanks!
