Compile Error: Syntax Error to Compile Error: Argument Not Optional

Hi! My SpellNumber curiosity lead me to sign up for this site. I have no background in programming, but I am interested to learn and to make my excel work a lot easier.

So, I've found this thread "Compile error syntax error - spellnumber microsoft code" from 2020 and tried to copy this "Cents = GetTens(Left(Mid(MyNumber, DecimalPlace + 1) & "00", 2))" from the replies. However, after doing so, the Compile Error: Argument Not Optional popped up, highlighting "(Right(TensText, 1)) ' Retrieve ones place." from VBA.

I really don't understand. I hope you can help me. Thank you!
