how to convert whatever is text is typed in shape (not cell) into asterisk *

Hi,

I want whatever I type in a shape, it should be shown in asterisk * (see picture)

In password fields etc we want asterisk * to be shown not the password

For example. use types abc123. While typing as you as you type the next letter, the previous should be converted to *

you type

a
*b
**c.... and so on...

Or if it cannot be achieved then please tell me any other solution. I know we can format cells to put all input as asterisk *, but how can it be done within a shape in which I have put text in

Hi beginning,

Perhaps you could change the font to WingDings or something that is unreadable to get what you want? Does each letter have to be and astersk?

You might also change each letter to an asterisk by using a repeated Substitute function using VBA??
