How to Assign Estimate, Work Order, and Invoice numbers to the Reports?

    Hello,

On the Orders sheet there are 3 reports to choose from by selecting the shapes at top.

You can click the shape 'Add New' and select which report to add.

I am trying to figure out how to show the numbers for each in cell I4.

The 3 reports should have some logic to have a group type of code perhaps that stays with each report.

The OrderDB sheet records the information by selecting the shape 'Save/Update'.

Does anyone have any ideas how to do this please?

    Thank you kindly,
    Rupert

Please provide a sample workbook. And be patient.

    Administrative Note:

Please do not bump threads until 24 hours have passed, and then only once each day. We are all volunteers here who have lives beyond this forum. While you may be awake and working, this is a world wide forum and others may be playing, sleeping or working and not have the time to look into your issues this minute. Patience is important here. If you have an urgent issue, you may wish to look at paying for help in the Commercial Services sub-forum or hiring a professional consultant in your area. Again, please do not bump threads more often than once in every 24 hours: if you get the help you need today, then great, but you really should not count on it. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

If you don't get a reply after 24 hours, then bump the thread by asking if you can clarify anything.

9 times out of 10, unanswered threads are ones that nobody really understands, and yours have had a lot of views.

It's NOT personal, so consider adding more detail or asking what it is that isn't understood.

I will not post unless it is the end of all of my possible attempts. Hopefully I never have to bother anyone here again. Be safe.

OK - if you want to continue believing that there is some sort of vendetta against you going on, then fine, but believe me, there is none. Nobody will care one way or the other - they have better things to think about, to be frank.

If you expect preferential treatment here, you won't get it. If you don't value the many solutions here that you have had from many very generous members, then so be it.

It might be better all round if you find a forum where you can pay for immediate assistance. Good luck.

That is exactly the response I expected. I have no use for conceded people. Don't be safe I take it back.
