Not sorting

Hi ,my 1st post
I have a macro which is quite basic
There are a few columns with name etc then scores in 3 columns the 4 colum adds the 3 columns together then i need to sort the total when I try to sort high to low scores the message say all columns need to be the same size , 1 colum might have a name in and the colum I’m sorting will have number in which can’t be the same size ,don’t know how to rectify this any help gratefully received

I think it is referring to merged cells rather than the actual column width.
