    Convert Greek Text to Latin (Old Excel 2002)

    Looking for a formula / user function in SHEET2 B1 that whould convert text in SHEET1 A1 according to range IN SHEET1 J2:K55.
    Latin text, numbers and punctuation (except j54:k54), are copied as they are.
    If any character is not found, the result should be #ERR! (preferably in red).
    Errs will be looked into and the conversion table will be enriched.

    You could create a long nested SUBSTITUTE formula, however I think you'd run into issues with your old version (the formula would need to be too long).

    Shall I move this to the VBA section for you? I am pretty sure that's going to be the only solution.

    Sheet "Codes" has uni-codes for Greek Characters (Named Ranges for Codes/Latin characters))
