Help with File Crash - Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA7.1\VBE7.DLL

This file is starting to be very unstable and it is important. This file sometimes crashes without it opening so I dont know what exactly is happenig. I went into the event log and this was the fault.

    Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA7.1\VBE7.DLL
Faulting module name: VBE7.DLL, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5f512666

Has anyone ever seen this and can offer some help so I can get this file back on track?

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

There may be a corruption in the file. Do have code for WorkbookOpen? I would try disabling macros and see if you can get it open that way. If so you may need to make a fresh copy by manually copying sheets and code modules to a clean file.

That was the first thing that I checked to see if there was a workbook open. There used to bee but now I removed all.

This file is a beast and it will take me a while to do that. I was afraidyou would say that.

I cannot emphasize enough that I am taking an educated guess and I cannot possibly know for certain what's wrong with your file. Don't take any rash action based on my best guess.

6StringJazzer, please do not worry about the advise. I know there a many many variables involved here but input is always appreciated. Excelforum.com has granted me a lot of positive input and helped me tremendously in my productivity. Without your expertise and VBA know how I would struggle significantly. Everything that I do is my own responsiblity and not yours.

I did already copy this file over once and it was stable for a while. It did at one point have a WorkBook open code but I removed it. Unless there are remnants of things in there. I also noticed alot of conditional formats which I am going to clean up. I will make small adjustments to see if this becomes more stable. I know it is somethign goofy that I am not seeing.

    Thanks for your input.
Looking forward to chatting some more in the near future.
