Hi
I have around 3000 images in a folder I need to rename.
I have a list of all the current images names in excel and have created a column next to them with the names I need them to be.
I understand I can use this to change the file names in the folder
I'm not super techy so assume it has to be a simple as possible, please

I am really not clear what you are asking.
By the way, you never responded to the help I offered last time you were here.
There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

Apologies, I didn't realise your answer to my previous post needed a reply and I assumed as you edited it saying oops just seen I am on a mac that what you were proposing only works with Windows?
Why would you NOT reply to someone offering help? What a strange thing to say. I would always thank anyone - maybe that's just me.
You will need VBA to do what you want. I will move this to the VBA section where one of our VBA experts will take a look.
If you are still using a Mac, then your forum profile should say 365 for Mac. Please update this. Thanks.
