Sort by ascending date

Hi everybody,
I have a spreadsheet with many columns. Data starts at A1
I want to sort the data by ascending time in column A.
Know that column A has the format yyyymmddhhmmss.
Anyone know please just help. thank you.

I split into columns: year / month / day / hour
then sort the data.

Hi Pepe! So far, this is the closest subject that I need help with. I'm sorting by ascending date but need to also sort by entry time. The date is given in col A but no reference to time which I don't need displayed. How do I sort it also by entry time in vba; Excel 2016? TIA
