Lightbulb Auto fill columns from data above .

    Hello all ,
I am hoping to get a fast macro that can auto fill a horses history . As the final results in sheet 2 .
Opening both of these is very easy to see where the results are if you click back and forth on both quickly .

Sheet 1, I run a macro for each condition in col AB .
Col AP is the number of starts for each condition .
The results in cols K and L are for good , cols U ad V are for dead , W and X for slow , Y and Z for heavy .
These results happen when horses are sorted by name and ID by lowest to highest .

Each row is a horses result on the day . It can only run in 1 of 4 conditions .
It’s the other 6 cols I am needing auto filled .
I have now 525,000 rows of data , I tried doing this manually and computer nearly blew up .

A macro to do all cols or even one at a time will be a good start .
If this is complicated then I am looking to get a professional to write this for me with full payment of course .

    Looking for any input .
    Thanks .

I like the challenge, will download the files and see if I understand what you're looking for.
Manual actions are prone to error and yea, a macro can (in general) do all that
Don't hold your breath but I'll see if I can help in some way

Hello Keebellah , thanks for taking up the challenge , I can invent them , just cant answer them .
This sheet is just one horse which i have done using autofill's 8 steps .
Of course to do these each separately takes a long time .
This really doesnt help much i know , thought id fill in all the first starts as this contains no data .
    Thanks .

    Hi Kevin,
I've looked at the three files and the 'result' for Diogenes, I honestly don't know what you're trying to achieve.
You mention that Aheet1 is the source data where you run a macro (not present in the file even it it's a macro embedded)
For me to see what steps I filtered that file for Diogenes, did the same for Sheet2 which you say is a final result file which is not any different from the first except for greater part of the cells filled with 0.0 values where there was nothing the Sheet1 and that you come up with the Diogenes file where the remaining empty fields contain a 0.0.
I honestly don't understand the difficulty for this 'autofill' You've got a macro to do step 1 probably another for Step 2 and the final step you say is hard, What is hard, fill empty cells with 0.0?

Maybe I'm dense or maybe I do not understand your explanation!

Another thing, what role do the hidden columns play?
