People use word proxy for many definitions and meanings. Some people do not know what it means. Are you talking about alternative methods for doing something or are you talking about proxy in terms of the definition of type of server used? Selenium basic very popular right now and they can do many things. What exactly are you trying to do? Because another term you say is port, and Port means many things too in many industries and for many businesses. But I assume you talking about port number that is used for computer communication obviously? Like file transfers between client and server machines? Like with email protocols and authentication used stuff like that?
