If you Protect your worksheet, one of the options is to not allow edit objects.
Surround your VBA code with CODE tags e.g.;
[CODE]your VBA code here[/CODE]
The # button in the forum editor will apply CODE tags around your selected text.

Yes there is, but then the end user is not able to edit the text inside the shapes. The end user need to be able to enter details inside the shape, but should not be able to manually resize the shapes, or else the shapes will not be able to fit in the calendar schedule cells.
