VBA pointer for phone directory, plugged in with USB

I want to throw files to the SD card dir on the phone. hence the ""card"" string in the path.

When an Android phone is plugged into a USB port, it presents as a MTP/PTP device (media transfer protocol). To get a drive letter it would have to present as an MSC (mass storage class) device, which was discontinued in Android several years ago due to the potential for operations on the data that messed up how Android wanted to manage the device (i.e., bricking the phone).

There are third-party tools and other techniques to do this but I consider them hacks and I don't have experience with them.

If your data is on an SD card rather than the phone's internal storage, then your best bet is to pull out the card and plug it into a card reader connected to the computer.
