Importing a non-macro worksheet into a macro-enabled workbook

Hi- I'm using MS Office 365 and I'm having a problem importing a worksheet from a non-macro workbook to a macro-emabled workbook. I have both workbooks open and select the Move/Copy option to copy the .xls worksheet to the .xlsm workbook. The program freezes with the message (not reponding) message at the top of the workbook.

The same happens when I click on the + to add a new page in the .xlsm workbook.

Any help solving this will be appreciated.

Maybe you should open the Macro enabled workbook with Macros disabled

many thanks - I'll try that but how will that solve the problem when adding new worksheets?
