Only allow certain users to view sheets

Hi,

I have a workbook I have to share with other inside my team and outside

I have a list of my team members as User1, User2, User3 on a sheet row

But, I don't want certain sheets Sheet1, Sheet2 and Sheet3 to be visible to anyone outside my team.

So, for everyone outside the team, I want to have the sheet visible property set at xlveryhidden

How do we amend a code for that

it depends on how you are identifying the users. does excel have a feature in it where you can actually ASSIGN usernames to workbooks? I don't think so, or at least I've never done such a thing. what kind of data do you have in your range of user data that you speak of?

ok, now that I've checked on it, it seems like the code application.username returns the actual USERNAME of the machine using the excel program. so, if that is the case, and the data that you have in your data list in the worksheet IS actually the names of your team members in the form of their computer USERNAMES (I think it's the environment variable), more than likely this code will work:
