How to enable and disable when the user clicked the rectangle as button?

Hi,

I have a few questions based on my sample shipping in excel.

Could someone guide and check the VBA coding in which:-
The Column of Shipping Charges - Extra Charges (cell C27) :
Steps:
1) Once the user select the extra charges at the Shipping Charges , the user is able to choose either "custom clearance" or "custom duty" at the extra charges column.
2) Then the user has to checklist their goods by selecting the Yes or No at the Shipping Checklist column.

Take note that "no extra charges" and "no installment" at the shipping charges column are not allowed to select the rest of the column but itself and how should i create a pop up message you are not allowed to select the Extra Charges and Shipping Checklist Column.

the title of your question is "buttons". you are giving steps of what you want to do. but are you wanting to have each step (task) that the user does associated with pressing a button for each? buttons can have VBA macros assigned to them. but they have to be SUBs (subroutines), I believe. your question was a little bit vague. there are things you can do inside the interface (on the worksheet, not in code) to manipulate what the user does and make things happen after a user performs some action, but code is probably easier to control their actions.

I think you can execute what you want with Multi-Level Drop-Down, and you must change your thread title because it not gives exactly what you want

Could you check the coding that I provided at the Visual Basic? I have no idea where is my missing code especially on the column C:D, when I select the Extra Charges button, it must shows the selection either custom clearance or custom duty. Then, I can able to select at the Shipping Checklist column but none of it can select.

I will take a look later on today if someone else doesn't post here. But one thing, have you considered telling the management personnel in your company that the request my not be possible to fulfill? I've talked to so many programmers in more than 20 years that are scared to death to their managers that they are making tough and/or impossible requests and make alternative suggestions. I think this happens either because they are not knowledgeable about their tools and are not confident or they don't want to guide management properly as to what is possible and what isn't because they are not authorities in their companies.

I'm not saying that you are not knowledgeable about Excel, I'm just saying that you might want to consider this as a tactic to help your management gain a better understanding of the tools you are working with to help them out. I consult all the time and I get many questions from people that are almost impossible to answer because some of them want software products to do things that programming languages can't even do because the are not well enough developed yet.

I'm off to bed. but I think you are going about this all wrong, fg. your file has no user interaction to it. you can use FORMS, BUTTONS and all types of other controls with excel. the sample that I am giving you is showing you just a simple thing that you can do. this is not 100% what you are looking for, because I still can't understand what you're talking about. this example if meant to show you what I think you want as some sort of end result.. take a look....
