Hi all,

I am trying to create a basic barcode inventory system.
I have the barcode numbers in the B column and Item Description/Weight/Location/PAT Date/Last Scanned in D-G columns.
I have a cell designated for the incoming barcode data (N21), current date in N19 and a dynamic list of locations in N23.
What i'm trying to achieve is some sort of formula or Marco/VBA that will do the following:
When a barcode (or just typed number) is entered into N21 it will update the corresponding items current Location and Last Scanned Dates in the appropriate Row.
So if I scanned or entered into N21 number 1, it would change the item 1s Location to whatever the list has currently selected and last scanned date to today's date.

I've been trying to google anyway of doing this but no joy so far, i'm not up to scratch with VBA/macros but I do know Excel pretty well.
Can anyone help?
