If you are asking to auto refresh Pivot Table you can do so connection properties and set the time as required by you.

A basic timer macro could be utilized but what do you mean by "refresh workbook" ?
Please provide specifics.
Oopssorry about that.
What I was wanting to know was how could a sheet can be set to trigger a refresh at different intervals throughout the day.
I have a sheet that fetches stock prices of companies. To get the latest stock price I have to manually refresh the sheet. How then can a refresh of the sheet be carried out without the need to be present at the computer so a refresh of the sheet can be performed.
Hope my explanation is a little bit better.
Kind regards
Patrick
I thought the stock price function in Excel provided live figures? If you search someone posted it recently.
Edit it's in the data format tab.
Simply select the cells that contain the stock names/ticker symbols and navigate to the Data tab in the Excel Ribbon.
Next click the Stocks button within the Data Types group.
After you click the Stocks button, Excel will attempt to convert as many of the selected cell's values into stock data types.

Yes Logit I think your solution of triggering the start and end time by command button is the best approach in this situation. Thank you.
Thank you to all the other contributors also.
