I'm new to the site and am in need of help with some vba code if possible
I have a spreadsheet with a large amount of data (30k lines)
I have a summary tab which gives a breakdown of staff members who have passed certain courses, plus some pretty graphs etc. This info is based on 2 cells that users select from a drop down (eg. department/Course category)
What I would really like to be able to do is to have a button that exports a list from the data sheet to another (new) workbook or csv file or even a new tab, but this data needs to export based on whether the it meets the criteria of department/course category on the summary sheet.
Also ideally i would like the user to be able to re run it but without overwriting the first time.
I hope that makes sense, I have attached a knock up of what i am working with if that helps.
Appreciate any help you can give me, Im fairly confident in excel but not really with vba. I have managed to produce roughly what i need with formulas but unfortunately the sheet is slow to update and i cant send that to managers
