What does the VBA IDE Windows Arrange Icons do?

Hi,

I've been sheltering in place and one of my favorite places is in the Excel VBA Developer Code window. In this it has a menu item of "Window" just before the "Help" icon.

In the Window dropdown there is:
Split, Tile Horiz, Tile Vert, Cascade and "Arrange Icons"

I can't find any YouTube or websites that explain what this does.

Does anyone know? Love to hear what function it has. What Icons and how does it arrange them?

Hey Logit,

Thanks for the find. I hadn't seen that one yet. Arrange Icons looks to simply take the minimumized modules and move them to the bottom Is that all it does? Can you see which module is which when they are all minimized on the bottom of the code window?

Anyone else know why this function is taking up room on the VBA IDE?

Well ... I've looked at several of my personal projects that have multiple modules. The Arrange Icons selection does nothing here.

I'm missing something.

Along with knowing what "Arrange Icons" does, do any of you VBA programmers ever use Split Windows or Tile your modules? If you do then why?
