What can cause this error?
I have ticked the Microsoft HTML Object Library and the Microsoft Internet Controls, but I still get a 438 error.
Thanks!

what version of Excel are you using and what is your locale, your reg details do not help.![]()
I am using Excel in O365. Not sure why my locale matters; could you please explain?
Without any detail how you are applying these within VB your query needs the assistance of a 'crystal ball'.
if within your code you are referencing dates or times your locale is important and would possibly influence the advice given.
we are not wanting your full address, but country would be a good start.
