Simple script to import values from another workbook?

Hello
Please could someone help by giving me a vba script to import some values from one workbook to another.

For example, if I'd like to import cell A1 in source.xls/sheet1 to cell B1 in dest.xls/sheet2, what would be a suitable script please?

in the developers tab you will find "Record Macro". Start recording and open source.xls. Select A1 in sheet 1 and copy the cell to wherever you need it. stop recording. Now you have your macro
