search bar creation

I am trying to make a search bar for a product search. column one has material numbers on them (about two thousand) and column two has expiry dates.
I would like to create a search bar button in cell E1.
Person type in material number in D1, press search button (at E1), the corresponding expiry date shows up on cell F1
any help would be greatly appreciated. Please see attached sample. thank you

Not sure you really need a search button - Use this formula in F2

(I added the TEXT part because for some reason on your sample data it sometimes reverted back to the serial number of the date instead of the DD-MMM format of them).

U r right, I don't really need a search button (was trying to be fancy I guess, lol). It works n does the job, thank u so much. Happy new year
