Change column in which date is placed

    Hi All

I'm trying to modify this code to place the date in A2 once content is added in B2. Presently it's putting the date in C2.

Please Login or Register to view this content.

I'd also like the date to be in the format DD MMMM YYYY if possible.

    Grateful for any advice.

OK thanks for this - it works perfectly.

By the way , I'd like each inserted date to remain unchanged once it is in place.

Do you know if this method will overwrite all the dates with the current date on opening the worksheet , or will they stay unchanged?

    Thanks again.

Leith's code should maintain the date provided on the worksheet change event. It will not change upon opening like it does with either the Today() or Now() excel functions.
