No VBA helps to make protected workbooks visibility -1

Hi guys,

So I've had a document shared with me that contains a number of hidden sheets that i can't unhide because the doc as a whole appears password protected.

The sheets' visibility is set to 0 - xlSheetHidden and no matter what VBA i use from a multitude of websites (even those saying they've been successful) i'm unable to change it to -1/visible.

I want to access the sheets as the person who provided the sheet is claiming their calculations are accurate but refuses to show how they've sourced these calculators despite it being necessary for us to ensure a 3rd party tool hasn't simply been ripped off.

So i'd like to find out a way to unhide them, vet the calculations and move on.

It'd be amazing if someone could help!

Changing the visibility status prompts a lightbox stating "Unable to set the Visible property of the Worksheet class".

First of all, this breaks one of our forum rules...

Either it is password protected or it is not. If it is password protected we cannot help, but have you looked at the VBE to see if you can just set the sheets in question to visible?
