    Proper way to save worksheet

    I have a workbook that is a template,one sheet has a list of products. What is the best way to save changes to this sheet without closing the workbook to save. I was thinking a vba code when I leave that sheet and go to the master sheet if possible? So it would be all automatic, the worksheet is named List.
