    Hi ,
Is there any online checking or trial testing for macro to be used in upgraded excel version?

    Hi,
I have already looked that site.. But i cant tell my client that your installation is faulty or windows registry issue...
eventhough , he told me that he had upgraded recently..
I just want to be correct from my side..
Can you check my macro and tell me if there is any error..
THe catch is first he didnot get error.. but when i did some changes in the function, he told me he is getting error..
But , i dont see any error popping up in my file..

    Hello dorabajji,

I downloaded the workbook in post #2. When I opened it, there were formula errors everywhere. Most of the errors were #REF. There is no way anyone can troubleshoot the problems in this workbook without meaningful data.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Re: Macro Error 400

    Hi Ross,
I am attaching the file.. but it is getting upload failed.. i dont understand what is the issue.. I tried many times to upload, but it is failing to upload...
File size is more than 6 mb? i think it is due to it..

Can i send you personally via anyother.. is it possible??

ANd in the current workbook.. i tested using R53,54..T62,66..
This macro works.. on selecting cells.. and if there is a formula it changes to absolute only for the certain sheet the name given.. for others it will be relative..
For me it works perfectly and it changes..
But the problem is when i copy the macro in his file..
IF you see #name in the file, this is what it was reflecting in his file..
THis was due to _xnif due to version downgrade.. the IFs function were replaced by this.. SO all were changed to #name.. still i checked the formula in the cell were changed..
But when i send it , he could not use it.. the same #name comes.. and so i pasted him the code and he has pasted in this.workbook instead of module..
for him he is saying error 400..
I have told him to change it to by inserting new module..
but still am curious , as to how working macro, throws error in upgraded version.. and also worried as to how this can be mitigated.

File size is more than 6 mb?.
Size for .xlsx and .xlsm file is limited to 1MB. However, a ZIP file or .xlsb file can be up to 9.77MB. Please zip your file and upload the ZIP file.

    Re: Macro Error 400

    Hi All,
Since i couldnt upload the original file... This is my test file..Where i have to convert the formula reference to rel to abs.. for certain sheet..
    I select range from r 50 to 56 and t60 to 67
    This based on selection..
For me i dont face any issue.. But the client is telling me the macro gets him error 400.. By googling , i got to know that it may also be beyond excel..
I want to know whether my macro has any issues.. I didnot get any error and also it was smooth and changed the cells to abs for particular sheet name..

So if anybody can test , kindly check the macro in the sample file for the range i have mentioned..Kindly ignore #ref..
if anybody interested to get original file for testing.. kindly let me know any alternate means of sending the file...

You will have to explain how to run your macro.
