Looking for a way to highlight and change cell value automatically

    Hi All

I have attached a small portion of a bigger spreadsheet that I am working on and have a couple of questions in the spreadsheet along with an example of what I am trying to do. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    1. If kitchen flow rate is equal to or greater than kitchen design rate.
    a. Highlight cell
    b. Change kitchen flow rate to the value it is designed too.
    c. Take the kitchen design flow rate multiply it by 128/ounce in row 14 and change all cells that has values in them in that column with new rate. Starting at row 18 down to row 44
    2. If kitchen flow rate is less than design rate
    a. Find lowest value in that column.
    b. Highlight all cells that contain lowest value.
    c. Change all other cells that have a value in them to the lowest value in that column starting with row 18 down to row 44

    Thank you
    David

    Sorry for off-topic interjection:

Although there is no official rule regarding this behavior, we request that wherever possible both the question AND the answer be provided in substantive detail here within the thread. An attached workbook is an excellent aid for posing a question and offering a solution, but solely doing that with no in thread explanation makes it difficult for researchers to understand or consider the Q & A of this thread without downloading what may be a pointless doc to them, if they can do that at all. Doing that also hides the content from search engines so others may never benefit from this.

I'm sure you understand, and we look forward to seeing you post your formulas/macros in your posts for the searching benefit of all.

Thanks again for all your hard work here!
