What's the algorithm for "determine if website has a blog" ?
(and are you really still using Excel 2003?)
let Source = #table({"Question","Thread", "User"},{{"Answered","Mark Solved", "Add Reputation"}}) in Source
If I give you Power Query (Get & Transform Data) code, and you don't know what to do with it, then CLICK HERE

Excel 2003 is not an issue …
I 1 000 % agree for the blog logic as I thought the same yesterday !
Excel 2003 does not have PowerQuerry but as I download Web data since years under this version, it's not an issue
but again I totally agree for this kind of stuff the better is to know on which Excel version(s) the code should run …

Okay. So what steps would you take to manually determine if a blog exists on a site?
I would see if the word "blog" was anywhere on the website.
On the webpage link it's easier …
Yes but I'm assuming not every website will have the same url structure for their blog.
can anyone help?
As you do not clarify what should be done so maybe some mind reader
as it depends on the samples you forgot to clearly explain and share in a workbook attachment …
The script will access any website listed in column A one by one and determine if the website has the word "blog" anywhere on the website. If the website has blog, then next to that website, in column B will be the word yes. If website does not have blog, script will wrote "No" in column B. Then move on to check the next website
