Detecting when data drops off & moving rows to amother sheet

    Hello everyone!

I'm attaching a spreadsheet I'm working with as a hobby right now. I will describe what I want to do with this data and I hope you can help me learn how to do it.

Essentially I want to find when a name in column C is removed from the data set. When a name is removed from column C, I want to take all of the corresponding data (columns A through D) for that data and add it to a new set.

    Thank you!

    Welcome to the forum!

To do what you are describing, you will need VBA. Shall I move your thread to the correct forum section?

Re: Detecting when data drops off & moving rows to amother sheet

    Thank you AliGW!

A little more detail about what I'm trying to do with this...

I define something as "dropping off" when the date in column A has changed, and a name is removed from column C. When this event happens, I want to take that name and add it to a new data set (e.g. new sheet).

Additionally, I would like to detect when new data is added in the same way. When the date in column A changes, and a new name is in column C that wasn't there before, I want to take that name and add it to a third separate data set.
