    Mail merge using dynamic range

I am using Excel and Word 365 based on my laptop. Eventually my application will be ported to our company's 365 online account.

I have made several attempts to use a named, dynamic range for a mail merge but Word will not recognize the name. I have elected to use dynamic range because the number of data rows changes and I do not want to include any blank rows in the merge.

    What are my options?

You have posted in the Excel VBA section, but mention Word VBA - please clarify which it is you are asking for help with. I can move the thread if necessary.

My mistake. Perhaps my post should be in formulas and functions. However, when I use the offset function Word will not recognize the Excel the named range. My thought there could be a VBA alternative.

I'm sorry - it's not at all clear (to me) what you are trying to achieve and whether it would be better placed in the Word section. If you want VBA, then it certainly should not be in Formulas & Functions.

Can you eliminate my post? I will think this one through better.

No need to do that. Just come back and post to it again when you've thought it through a bit better and we can take it from there.

It's easy-enough to add logic to the mailmerge main document in Word to skip blank rows, via a SKIPIF field or the mailmerge filters.

    SKIPIF works a treat!

    Thank you
