Macro to open new CSV file or workbook with 1 sheet

Hopefully a simple question (famous last words).

Is there a simple pieve of VBA code I can use to get excel to open a new workbook either, preferably, automatically as a csv or that just has one worksheet in it?

I have tried the add.workbooks but not sure if there was anything different or a way to tell it how many sheets you wanted.
