Macros and memo fields

I'm trying to create macros that function around memo fields can someone show me an example please like clearing a memo field out of its text or inserting a certain text in it using a macro? Thanks in advance and sorry if this sounds stupid but i'm new to this

Thank you for the reply Roel, there's this thing, my search is being confused with acutal CODE comments in VBA so i'm not sure where i can find a place that shows examples of setting a macro to clear a comment contents or insert a text into a comment/create one and delete previous one

I think I was misunderstood, this is not what I'm looking to do dotchiejack, I'm actually talking about inserting/editing a space in excel that you can insert a text into, not as a comment on a cell but rather a space that takes over cells itself.
