Thank you very much. I wii go throught forum rules.
am unable to attach file. Can you please advise for above.
Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.
I cannot help you with the VBA - somebody else will.
thank you. ihave attach file now.
Please check row 5 in your Desired Output image.
Is the correct result as shown, or should it be
Tip tinner. used to clean the tip of 'The Soldering Iron'
If the image is correct then you will need to explain the rules of your logic better as it doesn't appear to match the other rows.
thats mistake. I want it as 'The Soldering Iron'

Anyone? I just need text in single quotes in proper case.
Do you need it in red as well, or did you just do that to highlight what should be changed?
I think you're going to struggle to get it to work using single quotes. In most cases it can be made to work, but anything like this will be a problem
solder wick': the wick soaks up molten solder, it’s useful to clean the excess of solder.
Will result in
solder wick': The Wick Soaks Up Molten Solder, It's useful to clean the excess of solder.
i did just to highlight. i dont want anycolour. just proper case for text witin single quote.
What if instead of going by the apostrophes you look for the colon? Maybe something like this =PROPER(LEFT(A1,FIND(":",A1)))
Because list i get has text in single quote eg 'Text Sample' and which should be in proper case.
can you tell me solution u have.
As far as I can see, this is giving the correct results with the sample provided.
Single quotes are not the best thing to use for this, if you check your sample, you will see that every entry in column A has a hidden single quote at the beginning as a text qualifier. To get around this I've had to count the number of single quotes in each cell to determine if there should be one at the start or not. While it works with the sample, it could prove to be unreliable with other data.![]()
