Issues with VBA picture lookup -- Excel 2016 for Mac

I have created a file that uses VBA. The user needs to input a code and then click the button to run the code. That will pull corresponding data from another sheet and paste it into the dashboard. It also is supposed to change the picture that corresponds with the specific data. I'm having an issue getting the picture to change unless I manually double click on the cell (C16 in Dashboard) and hit enter. This changes the picture. I do not know if this is a Mac specific issue or not. Can anyone help with this?
