Formula refers to protected file

Hi,
File A contains a formula which refers to File B. File B is password-protected.

When opening File A, a window pops up asking for the password in File B. I see two options :

• give the password --> how do I do this in VBA ?
• suppress the message, because I have the impression that is is not needed for File A to get the data. Pressing Escape seems to work fine --> how do I do this in VBA ?
• Maybe a third, better solution ?
