VB date format - works for October, not for November (!?)

    Hi all,

I have the following code that's supposed to fill in the date when an item was first marked complete:

(Also attached workbook for a stripped down version of my spreadsheet).

It worked fine in October! I've got day-month-year right through the month, no problems. But as soon as I got into November, the month is going first (I.e. it's set to month-day-year).

    Instead of 01/11/2018, it's showing 11/01/2018.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

It works for me as you have described. The code fills the cells correctly using the the Non-US date format.

    Well........ that's weird.
    :/

I got a colleague to try the workbook, and she gets the same problem as I do. We're in Australia, so the default date should be dd/mm/yyyy anyway. And it worked to the end of October, too!

    So weird.

    Any ideas?
