    Macros in Personal.xlsb

When I choose a macro, each macro name is preceeded by PERSONAL.XLSB! How can I get rid of that so that only the macro name appears.

That info is there to show you in which open workbook each macro is saved. It's useful information, what's the reason behind not wanting it visible?

    Re: Macros in Personal.xlsb

Thanks for the reply. I almost exclusively use macros from my personal.xlsb file so I know their location. I have about 30 macros so I would like to be able to press a letter to get to the one I use quicker. If I use the option to use macros in the current workbook, they aren't preceded by the file name. Any suggestions?

Aha, I see. Well that makes sense.

Unfortunately I don't know of a way you can not display the workbook name in that window. Never crossed my mind to use it in that way so never looked for one.

Not much help I know. Sorry.

Perhaps keyboard shortcuts to fire the macros instead?

If you want to access macros quickly via typing a letter - why not just assign shortcut keys to them under Options?
If you want something done right... find a forum and ask an online expert.

I have used some keyboard shortcuts. Mostly I assign my commonly used macros to the quick access and use a symbol to I identify them. Thanks.

Or open a UserForm with Buttons for all your Personal.xlsb macros from the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) like above gentleman mentioned
