string search and data modificatoin

I have multiple tabs in a workbook , and each tab includes a string "DL-H1" but in various locations in each worksheet. the column preceding the string is a number field, and I would like to search all tabs, find that string and go back one cell to the number field and recalculate the number field (multiply it by 1.5), then continue on thru all tabs in workbook doing same thing. Any suggestions?

Try the following code which assumes that the value to be recalulated is adjacent to the left of the cell with the sought value and therefore, no sought value will be in column A. The code will cycles through entire workbook with unlimite sheets with unlimited matching values.
