VBA workaround to set workbook color theme

    Hey guys

Has anyone got a workaround to set the default theme in excel
I need to set theme to "Metro"...Any ideas

    Scenario as follows...
I have copied sheet to newbook...and set colors

Even tried setting the range and changing the color index, however as the default theme is different, the color index is different...

    Good Luck...
I don't presume to know what I am doing, however, just like you, I too started somewhere...

Re: VBA workaround to set workbook color theme

    Hi,

Can you clarify what theme you are trying to set- do you want to apply wb's them to nbk as a whole, or are you just trying to update colours on the new copied sheet, or something else?
    Don

Not to worry...managed to replicate the colors via RGB setting
    Edit
    @ xlnitwit....
wanted to have the interior colors the same as the source workbook....the nbk color scheme was "Office"....source wb was "Metro"
