Customize Ribbon attached to a workbook

Hi,

I discovered that a customized ribbon by XML-code is only shown when the workbook containing the XML-code is ACTIVE. If another workbook is active, the customization disappears. I thought that the customized ribbon was shown as long as the workbook with XML-code was OPEN. Is it possible to show the customized ribbon as long as the file with XML-code is OPEN, not ACTIVE?

Of course I can permanent customize the ribbon or use QAT. However, the customization is always shown. I don't want that. I only want the customization when a certain file is open.

You need to define a new name space and use qid tag.
