Create Header In Word Doc From Excel VBA

You don't need any code for this. All you need to do is to specify an appropriate template via:
Set WdDoc = wdApp.Documents.Add
and, before use, insert 'Report Run On : ' followed by a CREATEDATE field into the page header of that template.
