    ActiveX ComboBox

    Hi,

I have an ActiveX ComboBox in this worksheet called "Template" in cells C3.
I want to know that if I am in say cells C4 and move up to cells C3 (i.e. where the combobox is) using the up arrow key from my keyboard, then how can I make sure this combobox be activated as opposed to just cells C3? Because when I type in something in cells C3 after moving to it from cells C4, it is typing behind the combobox so when you press F2 you will see the contents in the actual cell and I don't want this, I want to ensure my cell C3 is only a combobox so when you navigate to it, you are already by default working with the contents inside the combobox.

    Thanks.

I think this will work if you put in in the sheet module where the combobox is. I named my combobox "CB_1" so you can either rename you box or change the code.

    Re: ActiveX ComboBox

Can you just change the ComboBox's Linked Cell property to C3? Anything entered there will then be reflected in the box.

    Re: ActiveX ComboBox

    Thanks dflak, that works!
I now want to open the list when someone clicks the downward arrow key and then be able to move up and down the list when someone uses the up and down arrow key.
    How do I achieve this?
