Count item based off month when it changes

I currently have a sheet called "Monthly Stats". It counts errors for each associate based off their sheet with their name on it. The sheet automatically puts the info in the correct month, based off the dates that are on the associates sheet in column A. In column E it counts the errors and this is the formula that I use on the associate's sheet.

. However it counts the 1 for all the months. What I need it to do, is look at the current month & count the errors for that month, when the date changes & goes to the next month, for it to keep the previous months data & start the new months error counts. I have attached an example work book for your reference. Thank you in advance for your help.
