Adding active rows from sheet to closed database-workbook

This is a slightly different approach from the one you were using. Hopefully, it works out for you. Copy and paste this macro into the worksheet code module. Do the following: right click the tab for your "Orders" sheet in the "Orders" workbook and click 'View Code'. Paste the macro into the empty code window that opens up. Close the code window to return to your sheet. This macro works without the use of a button. Simply double click the cell in column A of the row you want to copy to the "Data" workbook and that row will be copied automatically.
