    VBA conditional formatting

    Hi Guys,

I have a spreadsheet and have added a couple of bits to help my fill it out, in the full version it is 6000+ rows So I cut a bunch out.

I added a foumula to column "U", which I left there from U11 onwards and a conditional formatting in column X/Y, which I have left for you to see

Column U, if column X is blank record 0(zero), if it is 'absent' record 1(one)
Column X and Y if blank make it red

But the powers that be are computer muppets and cant under stand that they can just paste the values when they copy and past prior to upload into the National system.

Is there a simple VBA that will achieve the same result?

    Attached is a small sample.
