Delete macro button!

I am using excel for Mac 2011. I created a macro button for a macro but put it on the wrong sheet. I can't figure out how to move or delete the darn thing! Seems like it should be VERY SIMPLE!

I would start with clicking the developer ribbon and then making sure design mode is selected. Then left-click the button and delete. Granted that's how I would do it on 2013, therefore I am not 100 percent sure it is the same. If you do not have a developer ribbon showing its a quick fix in the options menu.

I know this sounds crazy but there is no 'design mode' in 2011 for Mac! I read another thread that confirms this. I can create the button and I can edit the macro but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of the button. even when I delete the macro the button is still there!
